About the event
Join Casa DuPage and ALMAS for a virtual community healing space for patrollers engaged in the ongoing work of protecting and supporting our communities in the face of ICE enforcement.
This gathering offers time to pause, reflect, and be in community with others doing this work. Together, we will hold space for shared experiences and engage in practices grounded in collective care and healing, recognizing that sustaining this work requires tending to ourselves and one another.
This session will be facilitated by Dr. Lili Burciaga, licensed counselor, psychology professor, and community leader, drawing on healing circle practices and trauma-informed approaches.
Participation is always optional, and all are welcome to join in ways that feel supportive. All active People’s Patrol patrollers are invited.
