Día de Muertos reminds us that even in uncertain times, love and culture endure. ALMAS remains committed to creating spaces of belonging, safety, and celebration for all. We know that recent immigration activity in the Chicago area may bring unease to some families. Please know: you are not alone, and you are welcome here. As we gather to honor our loved ones, we do so with remembrance, unity, and strength. Whether you join us at the Riverwalk or from home, we invite you to stand proud in your heritage, know your rights, and care for one another.  Our strength is in our unity: in our culture, in our love, and in our community.

Día de Muertos nos recuerda que, incluso en tiempos inciertos, el amor y la cultura perduran. ALMAS sigue comprometida con crear espacios de pertenencia, seguridad y celebración para todos. Sabemos que la reciente actividad migratoria en el área de Chicago puede generar inquietud en algunas familias. Por favor recuerda: no estás solo(a), y eres bienvenido(a) aquí. Al reunirnos para honrar a nuestros seres queridos, lo hacemos con memoria, unidad y fortaleza. Ya sea que nos acompañes en el Riverwalk o desde tu hogar, te invitamos a sentir orgullo por tu herencia, conocer tus derechos y cuidar unos de otros.
